MECALBI STCS-evo500TS — Infrared Heat Shrink System

The STCS-evo500TS is an evolution of MECALBI's evo500 system, based on infrared technology and designed for workbench applications.

The equipment processes one part at a time and combines heat shrink process control, reference programming, calibration and network communication in a compact solution for industrial production.

Using the touchscreen display, operators can configure process parameters, select references and monitor equipment operation.

Infrared heat shrink process control

The MECALBI STCS-evo500TS uses infrared technology to provide controlled heat shrink processing.

The main process parameters can be adjusted according to the application, including process temperature and shrinking time.

The working temperature can be set between 250 and 550 °C, while the shrinking time can be configured from 1 to 100 seconds.

The system also provides manual and automatic calibration and includes a connection for an external temperature probe for temperature readings and offset adjustment.

M3 mode and SDD system for diameter detection

One of the key features of the STCS-evo500TS is its additional M3 operating mode, associated with the SDD system.

The SDD system detects the diameter of the product and automatically sets the heat shrink parameters. This reduces the need for manual adjustments and makes it easier to adapt the process to different products.

Up to 999 pre-programmed references

The STCS-evo500TS supports up to 999 pre-programmed references, simplifying repeat production and the management of different products.

References can be programmed:

  • using a computer with STCS-RCT software;
  • using a USB memory device.

During production, references can be selected manually on the touchscreen or automatically using a barcode reader.

This functionality reduces manual adjustments and helps maintain consistent process parameters across different production batches and references.

  • M1 — temperature and shrinking time control;
  • M2 — operation using pre-programmed references, with capacity for up to 999 references;
