The C-Tec CFM PRO-touch is a quality control system for wire harness production, designed for crimp force monitoring during the production process.
The CFM PRO-touch crimp force monitor uses a piezoelectric strain sensor installed in the crimping press frame to measure the applied force. These values are continuously compared with the reference values defined for a correct crimp.
If the predefined tolerances are exceeded, the system activates an alarm and stops the crimping press. Continuous monitoring helps ensure consistently high crimping quality throughout production.
The CFM PRO-touch can be easily adapted to manual presses and semi-automatic crimping machines. Its modern touchscreen provides convenient operation, while the automatic drive system allows operation without additional sensors, although sensors can be used upon request.
The system also provides several output signals for machine control, Pro-Lite analysis software for PC, and protection of critical functions against unauthorised use through a code password or security dongle.
As an option, the CFM PRO-touch can be equipped with a piezoelectric ring sensor for use on the cylinder or base plate.
