The process consists of expanding the grommets or hoses with several mandrels by means of a manual lever mechanism, so that they can be fitted to the corresponding components without the need for force.
EXTENDOR technology uses specially adapted mandrels to mechanically expand grommets. Cable harnesses or cables can then be easily routed through the grommet and positioned precisely or variably.
Positioning aids are used for precise positioning, ensuring a high degree of accuracy.
With the assistance of the EXTENDOR D3 Mini, grommets can be easily, ergonomically and precisely mounted on lines/cable harnesses using the hand-operated three-prong lever technology.
The grommets can be placed in any position on the cable defined by the user.
The EXTENDOR D3 Mini allows the grommet to be expanded up to 37 mm.
